Centeocíhuatl ( Diosa del maíz en mazorca ) Y Xilohen ( Diosa del maíz tierno ) están presentes en cualesquier sitio en donde se fabriquen tortillas, pues son espíritus celosamente vigilantes de su cultura milenaria, su tradición e identidad.

Estas diosas, dignas representantes de la civilización azteca, ahora salen de la región de mesoamérica y llevan la cultura de la tortilla de maíz y del amaranto por todos los confines de la tierra, con el pregón de: "Tlaxcalli" y " Huestlacalli" ( tortilla delgada y tortilla gruesa ) una de las 630 formas que tenemos de consumir el maíz y la tortilla actualmente. Los mexicanos tenemos 15,000 años consumiendo maíz: en los últimos 5,000 años lo hemos comido en forma de tortilla elaborada sin conservadores químicos, para disfrutar del aroma y sabor natural del maíz, la tortilla es nuestro pan, plato y cuchara, es el totonqui, tlaxcalli, tlaculpacholli, ( tortillas blancas, delgadas, grandes y puestas en un textal, tapadas con un paño blanco ) es la tradición que nos despierta recuerdos aromas y sabores de nuestro querido México.

This goddesses, proud representatives of the Aztec civilization, now come out of the Mesoamerica region and take the culture of the corn tortilla and the amaranth to all corners of the earth, with the cry of: "Tlaxcalli" and " Huestlacalli" ( thin tortilla and thick tortilla ) one of the 630 different ways we have to consume corn and tortilla in modern times.
